Programme Overview
The Global MBA is a 24-month, full-time, onsite dual-degree programme offered by Starex University in collaboration with the EuroAmerican Institute (EAI), Malta. The onsite programme is delivered at the Gurugram campus, India, with integrated global immersion. Structured across six trimesters, the programme is designed to develop globally competent, marketing-led business leaders. It aims to combine academic rigour with professional and leadership readiness.
The programme is anchored by a mandatory Marketing major, with the flexibility to choose a specialisation in HR or Finance, enabling both focused learning and broad business understanding. Students also complete super-specialisations—with Entrepreneurship (compulsory for all), and one selected pathway from Business Analytics, E-Commerce & Digital Leadership, Leadership & Strategy, or Finance & Investing—to strengthen domain expertise and leadership capability.
Learning begins with a 10-day preparatory orientation, including subject fundamentals, a 2N-3D Unlearning and Relearning programme at Mussoorie, and culminating with a personality profiling of students, setting the foundation for self-awareness, adaptability, and leadership growth from the outset.
Across all trimesters, students progress through core marketing and management subjects alongside structured professional development through STEP (Simulated Transformational Environment for Placements) and WAW (Win at Workplace). These frameworks create a simulated workplace environment where communication, decision-making, teamwork, leadership behaviour, and workplace readiness are developed, thus, students learn not only what business is, but also how it functions.
Each trimester also integrates international certifications from Birchwood University in trending areas such as cybersecurity, Scrum, digital marketing, and emerging technologies. The programme includes global immersion and industry exposure along with summer internships. In the last trimester, students will undergo live projects and a dissertation in the final phase.
Powered by the I-THRIVE philosophy, the Global MBA develops entrepreneurial thinking, leadership depth, adaptability, multi-disciplinary capability, and global perspective. Through experiential initiatives such as
- BBC: Brand Breakthrough Challenge—Build, position & pitch brands in competitive business contexts.
- Bazaar: feet on street—Step into live markets to observe, engage, and decode how business actually happens.
- CPP: Creating Personal Persona—Build your professional presence by aligning communication style, behaviour, & leadership image.
- Experience Consulting—Tackle complex business situations with structured problem-solving & client-style thinking.
- 48-Hour Challenge—Test your ability to think fast, collaborate effectively, & deliver results against time.
Through I-THRIVE, the programme prepares graduates to lead confidently in dynamic world markets as adaptable, future-ready business leaders.
