Students complete 15 modules through their core curriculum and specialization courses to earn 60 ECTS credits, including their final thesis or business plan. Syllabus
Year 1 (First 12 Months)


SSM students at the Switzerland, Rome and Barcelona campuses receive their first-year instruction through 12 fundamental business courses, which include Global Macroeconomics, International Finance, Strategic Management, Leadership, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Business Law, and Organisational Behaviour. The learning experience combines interactive classroom sessions with team-based projects and visits to global corporations, which help students develop practical abilities and obtain industry-specific knowledge. Through 48 ECTS credits, these courses teach students how to make strategic decisions in international environments by using real-world cases and simulations and bringing industry leaders as guest speakers.
Year 2 (Last 6 Months)


During the last six months of study, students focus on specialised training and practical implementation through three specialised courses such as Global Management, Leadership, Finance and Marketing, which align with their career targets. Students demonstrate their real-world business problem-solving capacity through a mandatory thesis or business plan (worth 4 ECTS credits) as their program conclusion. Students achieve their 60 ECTS credit graduation requirement through a combination of academic and professional development courses during their second year.

Eligibility
- Applicants need to hold a recognized university's bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any subject area.
- A professional work history of at least two years is necessary to apply, but a seven-year average is preferred for competitive candidates.
- Applicants need to show English language proficiency at an intermediate level, in some cases with SSM's approval, and they must achieve either IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 80–90 scores or equivalent ratings.
- Applicants must send a completed application form alongside official transcripts and three essays describing their professional objectives and leadership qualities, together with two to three letters of recommendation.
- Prospective students need to submit a non-refundable application fee of €200 while meeting SSM's guidelines for transferring previous master's coursework, which needs to be approved by the Academic Dean.
