Information about Visa and Immigration

Non-EU/EEA students must obtain a French student visa before arrival at the France campuses. For the Berlin campus, students need to check German student visa requirements through German embassies. It is advisable to begin the visa process at least three months before the commencement of the course.

Students with acceptance letters can apply for the VLSTS student visa through embassies; it allows them to pursue studies in France for a period of four months to one year. For a longer duration, they need to have a multi-annual residence permit. There is a separate way for students belonging to the countries that are a part of the CEF (Études en France). After receiving an avisa, students can work legally for up to 964 hours per year in France.

Upon arrival, students need to validate their visas. The following documents are required to validate the VLS-TS visa:

  • A valid email address,
  • Information on your visa,
  • Your date of arrival in France,
  • Your home address in France,
  • A bank card to pay the online fee for the issuance of the residence permit.

As ICN Business School does not have any residence halls, if you are renting a flat for accommodation, it is mandatory to have civil liability insurance. The students can contact CROUS, which are state-owned university residences.
