1. Gastronomy

In hospitality education, gastronomy provides a comprehensive understanding of food, culinary arts, and culture. It prepares students for careers in culinary management, food service, and restaurant operations by covering topics such as culinary techniques, food and beverage pairing, sensory analysis, nutrition and health, culinary culture and history, hospitality management, menu planning and design. These subjects develop practical skills and an understanding of food’s cultural significance within the hospitality industry.

 

2. Design of Catering Venues

 

Designing catering venues focuses on optimising functionality and enhancing the dining experience through planning, decor, furniture, lighting, and flow. It ensures alignment with the venue's theme, client base, and menu while considering kitchen configuration, storage, and safety guidelines. Eligibility

1. Academic Qualifications:
Applicants must provide a certificate of completion for their higher secondary education to get enrolled in this course.

 

2. English Language Proficiency: Applicant must provide English Proficiency Test unless exempted. 

 

3. English Exemption for Native Speakers:
Applicants from English-speaking countries are not required to take an English language test. However, they must submit a personal motivation letter as part of their application.

 

4. English Language in Higher Secondary Education:

Applicants must have at least 50% in English-related subjects during their higher secondary education. Alternatively, the language of instruction at the last institution attended should be English.
